GINGERBREAD FOR LIBERTY!, by Mara Rockliff and illustrated by Vincent X. Kirsch, landed on the All the Wonders list of Best of 2015: Non Fiction Picture books. In a competitive year for children’s books, we are thrilled to see it recognized. Read the rest of the list here:
It also featured in a recent video in which 5th graders at ACDS argued why it should win the Caldecott award. You can watch the video here. While this year’s winner was a great choice, we have to say we were rooting for GINGERBREAD!
